Simon is an experienced and accomplished physical security professional and Co-Founder of Sunstone Systems, specialising in inventing and manufacturing clean technologies for energy, highways, telecommunications, construction and defence sectors. Simon’s expertise currently focus on solar powered, remotely deployable video surveillance systems. 

Simon’s presitigous career has been recognised in multiple awards such as Winner at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2023 for Security Partnering Initiative of the Year and Finalists for Security Hardware Manufacturer of the Year, Finalists at Engineering & Manufacturing Awards 2023 for Rising Star Award, Shortlisted at the National Sustainability Awards 2023 for Sustainable Transport Award, Winner at the Highways England Awards 2020 for customer-focused network Management, Recognised by IFSEC Global in the top 50 Most Influential in Security & Fire 2018, and many more. 

Simon’s company Sunstone is also a signatory to the MOD Corporate Covenant and has achieved the Bronze and Silver Award for work with the Armed forces.
